WHAT IS THE NOVICE CATEGORY?
A Novice is a person who is new to a circumstance in which they are placed... Beginner.
So how does that translate to surfing?.... If your abilities are limited to catching the wave, standing up, and gliding forward, then you are a "novice". If you can "cut-back" (turn), or if you can "cross-step" to the nose, then you are NOT a "novice".
kei·ki
The kei·ki's category (Formerly known as the Menehunes) is a "for fun" category for kids between the ages of 5-9. Parent's or guardians are welcomed to join them in the water to provide support and if necessary, push them into the waves.
CANCELLATION POLICY
You can receive a complete refund if requested within 30 days prior to the event. However, after this period, we can only refund 50% of your registration fees, excluding any Eventbrite fees—no refunds after Oct. 14th.
